Rainy Day Fingerless Gloves

I've noticed that things have been a bit slow on my end here, so I was thinking that I post some of the recent projects that I've finished. I finished knitting these gloves in August, but it took me until December to actually go out and buy the buttons to sew onto the cuffs, so technically I guess these weren't finished until last month.

I love how cute these gloves are! I omitted the rain drops that were supposed to be on the sky, because, although they looked cute in the pattern, I just didn't like them when they were on my gloves. I have actually worn these gloves outside when it was mildly cold, and they did indeed do a great job of keeping my hands warm and my fingers able to do things. My only complaint about these gloves is that I'm such a tight knitter that it's a bit of an ordeal to get these things on and off--but I suppose they are perfect if I intend to put them on and then wear them all day!
