Last night Dave and I headed into the heart of downtown to join some people for dinner in their new apartment—so new that they had really only moved in that day, but they were anxious to be able to cook a dinner for friends in their new kitchen.

We drank some wine and had some lasagna, which was pretty tasty. When their neighbors (and also good friends of theirs) came home, they joined us, and we eventually started in on a game of Cranium. I believe that the hostess generally considers herself to be awesome at that game, but I do believe that I gave her a run for her money! My team ultimately lost, but that was mainly due to the fact that my partner was a bit lacking in the music categories.

It does, however, make me realize that I miss not having gone to pub quiz in ages!
