Last night was book club--the first one we've had since November. We didn't schedule one in December because we figured it would be too hectic with the holidays and odds of a good turnout weren't that great.

Despite having the extra time, I didn't read the book at all, but of course still attended. I wasn't really feeling like running out to the grocery store to pick up a snack or beverage for the meeting, so instead I whipped up some lemon bars since I had all the ingredients on hand and the tree outside my apartment had many lemons ripe for the taking. I suppose that's totally one of the major benefits of working from home--having time to bake something before an evening meeting!

At any rate, we had a decent turnout, and a good number of people read the book. This time around the book is a murder mystery type genre, which is usually pretty interesting, so I think I will actually read and finish the book this time. :)
