Wow, is it really already Thursday? It seems like it was just the weekend, and now, it is almost upon us again.

On Tuesday night Ben and I checked out a new restaurant in Goleta, in what used to be a cafe that was seemingly only patronized by the geriatric crowd. The new place, which just opened on Sunday, is a brewhouse and as expected was full of young 20-somethings. It seems like the type of place that should do decently well, as there is nothing like it in that part of town and the food and beverages were decently priced and pretty good.

This weekend is Mother’s Day weekend, but a bunch of people up here will be spending it celebrating a birthday. Megan’s birthday is on Sunday and she has decided to do a whole weekend of festivities—dancing, party games, brunch, what have you. Should be a fun, busy weekend I think.
