Double Sneeze
A little while ago I just experienced something completely bizarre; something I have never before experienced.
I sneezed. Ok, that’s not the weird part. What made this sneeze unique is that I sneezed twice at the same time—a sneeze within a sneeze, if you will.
It wasn’t one sneeze after another. It was a sneeze, and while the A-CHOO from that sneeze was coming out, somewhere in the “CH” part I believe, I sneezed again.
So, I guess it was something like “A-CH-A-CHOO-CHOO”, only really fast, and all blurred together, instead of said separately. Unfortunately, no one is around to hear me and back me up on this, so I guess you’ll just have to take my word for it that it did indeed happen as I say.
Has this sort of thing happened to you or anyone you know?

Gazoontite! Gazoontite! (I think that is the proper spelling.)
I have never experienced this before myself but I bet the husband has! I’ll have to ask him when he gets in :)
1 | Posted by: Colleen on October 29, 2006 @ 6:10 PMI have the double sneezes all the time. It is really wierd. thats how I found this blog. I was trying to find out if there is a medical reason it happens. I would say that one out of every three sneezes is a double sneeze, (before finishing the first sneeze I sneeze again).
2 | Posted by: Debbie on November 16, 2006 @ 8:51 AMI double sneeze whenever I’m pregnant. It’s just one of my symptoms. It happens every morning when I have an empty stomach, I take my first bite of breakfast and - Achoo-choo. I told my doctor in the first pregnancy, and he told me that he had never heard of anything like that. He went on to assure me that my stomach was not connected to my nose. The sneezes then goe away when the baby leaves my body and come back when the next one arrives. I’m on my third pregnancy right now, and my kids wait for the sneeze every morning, and then remark on how weird I am. I think I’m cool!

I too have just started experiencing these ever since becoming pregnant (I’m about 11 weeks along, now). I felt there was a connection because I’ve never been pregnant, nor had these double sneezes before!
