My First Sweater
I’ve had a bit more time in the evenings lately, as I am currently in between web projects (though I will have one or two pick up soon), and so I have been working on knitting my first sweater.
This morning I finished making the entire back portion, and now I have begun the front. All that is left after that is a couple of sleeves and a sort of mock turtleneck.
So far, so good, although I fear it may be a bit too “stripey” for Steve’s taste. The yarn isn’t actually striped though—I will perhaps post a picture when it is done, and everyone can admire the non-stripeyness of the sweater.
Anyway, back to it. My goal is to finish it while it is still cold enough to wear it! :)

LOL well I suppose I wouldn’t keep doing it if it is awful. It’s a good thing to do while doing other things like watching TV or waiting for something. Plus, in the end, you have something you can use!
Like, I made my sister a purse for Christmas, which I thought turned out cute. I don’t know if she’s used it yet. She claims to be waiting for Spring or something, so maybe that means she was just being polite. :)
