A Lovely Day for Melting
It seems so trite and cliche to keep talking about the weather, but seriously what is up?! It’s crazy…or the apocalypse, I haven’t decided which.
As you know, Monday was thunder, lightening, rain, and cold. I wore a long-sleeved mock turtleneck shirt, jeans, a warm vest, and socks and shoes.
Today it is at least in the mid-80s (and it usually gets a little hotter later in the afternoon). I wish that halter tops and short shorts were office appropriate! I have on capri denim pants and a wide-strapped tank top, but it’s still too much—I even put my hair up! I am dreading going home this evening—my apartment is going to be like a furnace!!
It’s a good thing I didn’t unplug my fan and swap it out for the space heater just yet.
Good grief.

Well we were a lot hotter down here, when I walked into my house right now the thermostat read 91. I have never seen it get that hot in the house. Hope you are not roasting, at least I get to turn on the air conditioning. Just walk around your room naked, nobody would know!

I have yet to determine if anyone’s noticed. ;)
And damn you for your air conditioning! Although, is it hot enough for Sean to let you turn it on?
2 | Posted by: Jennifer91 degrees inside! Wow! I forgot to turn my A/C back yesterday morning so when I got home after work last night, it was 82 inside. I quickly kicked the A/C on to lower the temp a bit. I keep it set at about 78 when it’s on, but last night it cooled down fairly quickly so I cut it off and opened the windows.
And Jen, would it make a difference if you knew someone had noticed? hehe

Hmm, no, it’s too hot for me to care! Although, I don’t make a habit of walking by the window, instead staying near my little electric fan.
I don’t have a thermostat or other temperature measuring device in my apartment, and I’m not sure I’d want to know the how hot it was in there anyway! It’d probably just frighten me.
