Summer in December
If you can have Christmas in July, why can’t you have summer in December?
It’s in the mid-70s here today, in the middle of December. Can you feel the Christmas spirit?! To get in the proper mood, I’m hoping to catch the Christmas lights trolley tour…that should be really neat!
Anyway though, since I already finished my latest book from the library (in MUCH less time than Mansfield Park!), I decided to take this opportunity to get some more sunshine and reading material. I got 3 more books, so let’s see how long those last me—could be a month, could be a year! I will say though that walking around during the winter in a tank top is my idea of a great day. :)
I love the sunshine and warm weather. Too bad I know it can’t last…

I’ve never had a winter Christmas. Would gladly swap just once. :)

I’ve never had a white Christmas. I’m surrounded by sunshine and palm trees! The closest we get is maybe some coldish weather and rain, but there is no rain in sight this week.
I guess we both have to swap with someone else! :)

Well…you always want what you can’t get, right?
Next year, I’m off to Gran Canaria this time of the year….
