Well, it’s almost the end of the year—in some places of the world, it already happened, although we here on the West coast of the US still have 12 hours to go.

Overall, this year has been good, I think. Most notably, I got a new job in a place with more potential and less negativity than the University (not to mention more money with the potential for actual raises!). 2004 also saw me finally get out of my horrible living situation. It wasn’t the worst situation in the world, but it really did make me unhappy, and afraid to leave my room lest I accidentally run into a housemate and have to talk to them. Yea, not good.

Coincidentally, I moved into that house and started the job around the same time, and left them both at around the same time (ok, give or take a few months). I think giving 3 years of myself to each was enough, don’t you?

Anyway, hope 2004 was an ok year for all you guys too. If it wasn’t, then may 2005 make up for that and be the best year yet!
