Happy Turkey Day to all my American readers! Hope you all had a nice dinner with your friends and/or families.

I just got back from my large family gathering, where I had tons of turkey, mashed potatoes, fruit salad, and pumpkin pie!

To add a bit of interest to our food, it turns out that the ham we ate was actually purchased by my cousin. As in, her family went to an auction, bid on the pig they wanted, and it was then butchered to order. I didn’t actually wind up eating any of the ham, but the white meat of the turkey was quite tasty this year.

Anyway, now that Thanksgiving is over, you all know what this means. The holiday shopping season has officially begun. Ugh….I have NO idea what to get anyone this year.
