Winner, Winner, Winner
Woohoo I am the winner of the baby pool here at work! Well, ok, I’m actually the co-winner—it seems two of us got the exact same score.
One of the guys here decided to have a pool where people guessed on several aspects of the baby: date of birth, time of birth, length, weight, and dark vs. light hair.
I was only off by about 2 minutes on the time of birth, but 5 days on the date, so that kinda killed me. Even though I’m glad I won, I’m a little upset that I’m only winning $20 instead of $40, since I have to split with the other woman who won. Call me greedy!

2 | Posted by: Leonieke on September 29, 2004 @ 9:40 AMWell you got yourself a way to get your name to fame :P
4 | Posted by: Sofie on September 30, 2004 @ 10:08 AMHehe, perhaps Sofie, although it would’ve been cooler if the winner got to pick the name, or have the kid named after them. Although, seeing as how the baby is a boy, I’m thinking Jennifer might not have been the best choice for him. :)
Oh and Leonieke I’d love to share the wealth, but umm, what with wire transfer fees and fees to convert the money from $US to Euros, I’m afraid there wouldn’t be much to go around. ;)

However, this would, of course, drastically lower my potential dating pool. But It’s ok.. i’d be 25 years older that that’d be gross.

The “y” is a long “e” sound. All the other girls have long “e”s in their name. Ok, well, maybe not Renee, but 2 e’s traditionally makes a long “e” sound, so I think that should count!
