Stood Up
Aww, today I was supposed to meet one of my abstracters in person, but she stood me up! Well, maybe “stood up” is a bit harsh—she did email me to ask if she could come in Wednesday instead.
I have no idea if it will be awkward dealing with her in person—most of the people receive their assignments in the mail and we communicate via email. I guess I’ll have to wait until Wednesday to satisfy my curiosity.

Abstracter?? I got stood up today as well, I was supposed to shoot a topless girl who had an emergency and had to leave for home today.
Oh, my job is that I “coordinate” abstracters. I give people assignments to write short summaries (abstracts) for journal articles that will be indexed in our online databases. So basically, if you were doing research, you could look up an article and read the short summary to determine if it was relevant to your topic.
Hehe and your person sounds much more interesting than mine! I don’t think I work with any topless people. :)
