Speed Demon
Damn you, Kev!! Why did you have to talk to me about speeding tickets and how we didn’t have any on our records last night?!
Guess who got a ticket this morning for “exceeding 65mph” on the 217??
Yup, me.
Don’t ask how fast I was going—I just hope I can still do traffic school. Ugh though, I should know better, especially since I can’t afford to do stupid stuff like this. I guess that’s what I get for thinking that the motorcycle behind me wasn’t a cop. : /

Do the online one. I took it in Dallas, phew it saved me time.
Good luck!

The only way to not talk to a judge is to pay the fine in full, which you can arrange to do through an automated system.

I’ve taken traffic school in SB before—it gave me the option when I called in to find out how much the ticket would cost. No judge or anything. However, given my “alleged” speed, I don’t know what my options are yet.
Which takes me to Dre’s question. I don’t know how much my ticket is yet. It takes 10 days for them to process it and put it in the system. Hehe and yea, maybe you should stick to driving sober. Although…at least you apparently weren’t speeding on top of it!

Hehe and sweet, I checked out the SB Court site and in their description of eligibility for traffic school, it only mentions taking it for citations once every 18 months. It says nothing about limits on speed (although of course if you were going over 100mph it would be reckless and not a mere infraction and hence ineligible).
I wasn’t cited for 100+mph so hopefully I should be good! Damn the system though, I can’t even check until at least the end of the month.
