Movie Home

I got back from my trip to Disneyland over an hour ago, but I just got into my house like 5 minutes ago.

I pulled up to the front of my house, and thought that it seemed to be oddly lit—especially considering that the usual lights weren’t on. Someone immediately approached my vehicle, asking if I lived here. When I said yes, they informed me that they were shooting a scene and that I would have to move my car.

The woman told me it was for some Jonathan Winters movie special—I’m not sure about anything beyond that. They also told me that they’d be done in a few minutes.

I went to get food to kill time, figuring they would be done by the time I got back—they weren’t. So parked around the corner and kinda lurked around waiting until I could see them packing up.

Weird.

I wasn’t told that this would be going on, and even more amusing, I guess the scene was supposed to be of a group of people coming up to the house, knocking, and not finding anyone at home. However, it seems that on one of the earlier takes, one of my roommates opened the door when the people knocked. It would seem I’m not the only person in this house who didn’t get the memo.

It’s so random. I don’t think this is a major film or anything, so I doubt it’s anything cool. However, now I’m just a little curious to find out what this could possibly be. I may have to ask my landlady, since I don’t see anything listed on IMDB.

The more stories I hear about your landlady, the more I think she’s either a junkie or developmentally challenged. I lean more toward the former.
