Oh my God, I can’t believe how much today is lagging! It feels like I’ve been here for 5 hours, but it’s not even 11am yet!

Perhaps this is because we had an impromptu party yesterday when we realized that our boss would be out of town. It wasn’t anything big—we just brought in some small food items, but it was nice to have the relaxing, casual atmosphere. This isn’t to say that my office is a high-stress, high-demand environment, it’s just that I’m sure any department is changed when the boss is away.

Anyway, today it’s back to business as usual, albeit seemingly at a snail’s pace. It also doesn’t help that it’s only mid-week, ugh.
