Oh my goodness, there were LOOOONG lines for lunch at the UCen today! I swear that the entire young adult, female population of Japan made the long journey from their home country just to stand in line for Wendy’s and Panda Express at noon today.

It took almost 35 minutes before I was able to get to the front of the line. The one thing that made it worth it though was watching all the girls take pictures of each other at their tables—next to the food, just with each other, making V signs (anyone know what that’s about? They were ALL doing it, so I assume it must have some sort of significance), different angles, different cameras, etc.

I suppose next time we should check ahead of time to see if any large visiting groups are on campus before heading to the UCen for a “quick” lunch!
