Matrix Revolutions

I ducked out of work early to see The Matrix Revolutions at 3pm with Steve.

It was better than the 2nd one, but I still prefer the first. I think most people have it right—there should be more action and less plot and dialogue. Some of the talking scenes lasted a little too long. I guess that’s what happens when you turn an idea for a sequel into two full length sequels.

Anyway, I guess I liked it—maybe moreso because I didn’t have many expectations for it. I was bothered, though, by the fact that there were a lot of inconsistencies with the concept and mythology. I’m not even normally the type to notice such things, but this time I did. It kinda sucks that things got disregarded, and you have to wonder why? Maybe it’s just cuz they had to put out these 2 films so quickly that they didn’t worry about “consistency” Or maybe they were just hoping that you wouldn’t notice…If you like the other two, and/or want to complete the trilogy, then go see it. Otherwise, I guess there is no need…
