@sshole Drivers
Ugh! So for the last two days, the traffic light at the freeway onramp has been out, so naturally everyone resorts to letting each side send a driver through in alternating fashion. The way it worked out is that first the people directly across from me went, then the people to my right, then the people in my lane, and then repeat the process.
Well, this all works just fine….until it gets to be my turn. So I wait for the people directly across, and then right after the people to my right go, I start to take my turn. BOTH days, some asshole directly across from me decides it’s HIS turn to go. Are these people not paying attention, or do they just not care, figuring that their time is more valuable than mine?! I know I was taking my turn correctly, because both times only one driver went out of turn, and there are two lanes that should go when it’s their turn.
And lastly….why did it keep happening to ME?! I didn’t hesitate, and everyone prior was politely taking their turn at the designated time. ARG!

Welcome to what driving is like in Massachusettes!!! I go through at least 3 intersections like that a day, and the lights are always flashing yellow. It is crazy! People really lack respect for other drivers. Its down right rude and dangerous!
1 | Posted by: Colleen on September 16, 2003 @ 10:33 AMOh 3 lights sounds MUCH worse than my situation! Normally the traffic light works and there are no problems. I also imagine it’s worse for you being in a pretty big city. I totally agree that it’s dangerous though. Cuz I mean, I am assuming I can go, and it’s hard to see when the other car is still turning left, so I could totally plow into this jerk because he shouldn’t have been there.
2 | Posted by: JenniferI live in a very quiet city, yet I’ve had 3 car accidents! One of them, red light for them, green for me, and they didnt stop! argh! I got so angry :(
3 | Posted by: Ivette01 on September 17, 2003 @ 5:47 PMYea I can imagine! At least you’ve been OK in all 3 accidents. Anyway, it happened AGAIN to me today! This time the traffic was taking turns in a counter-clockwise fashion…the people across went, so it was my turn—and a guy right behind the guy who just went decided to go. He stopped in the middle of the street when he saw that I was going. I probably should’ve honked and yelled at him, but I didn’t think of it. Dangerous drivers!!! It’s only a matter of time before there is an accident because of this light being out. ARG!!
