So Long, Summer

Today marks the end of summer, and the beginning of Autumn. This makes me sad. I LOVE summer—the sun, the long daylight hours, the warmth, the tans, the beach, vacations, coconut oil. Granted, I don’t see or do some of these things while I work all day, but just knowing that it’s the season for such things makes me happy!

Autumn marks the beginning of me freezing my ass off. Already we’ve seen the fog roll in in the mornings, which doesn’t burn off until late. Last night there were some ominous looking clouds, but nothing came of them.

The best parts of Autumn come in November—my birthday and Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, those are still 2 months away!

Anyway, go visit Colleen if you’d like some Fall Happiness! :)

Ok, I’ll admit that I will be missing the long daylight hours! That should be a year round thing *nods* hehe

The one good thing about living in New England, I don’t notice the freezing my ass off stage ‘till late November when the temps start to head below 0!

Yes, I HATE the time change that happens end of October. There’s nothing more depressing than getting up for work in the dark and then having it be dark when you get off work! I LOVE when it’s light until like 8:30.

Hehe and freezing my ass off is relative. I consider 60 degree weather to be ass-freezing. LOL I’m a wuss I know. I don’t think I could hack it in New England! :)

LOL the temp this morning is 60 degrees and it is not even October yet! I Love It!

And yeah, I agree, it can get a bit depressing not having any sunshine during non-work hours.
