Bored at work

This-or-that TuesdayI’m not sure what sort of things interest the readers of my site, but I stumbled across this site called This-or-That Tuesday, which posts a new mini-questionnaire every Tuesday (Kev should like that…Tuesdays rock). Maybe if people seem to like it, I’ll do it when I remember. It does help pass the time at work. :)

Anyway, here is this week’s *Potpourri Edition*:

1. Packrat or minimalist? Packrat.

2. Computer: desktop or laptop? Both! Can’t part with my desktop yet, but I love surfing the web from bed using wireless and my spiffy new laptop! :)

3. Seashore or mountains? Seashore—especially in the summertime when it’s nice and warm.

4. Carpeting or bare floors? Carpeting, unless it’s the kind that makes you shock yourself whenever you touch a doorknob.

5. Drinking water: bottled or tap? I hate drinking water, but I actually prefer tap water. The more metallic the better—gives it better flavor I think.

6. Shopping websites: eBay or Amazon? eBay if it’s old and/or rare/unique. Amazon mostly for books or if I have a gift certificate.

7. Cute little kitties or big scary tigers? Kitties, as long as they don’t claw you to death.

8. Front door or back door? Back door at my parents’ house. Front door at mine.

9. Lots of jewelry, or little/none? Very little. I wear stuff given as gifts.

10. Thought-provoking question of the week: At the last minute, you obtain tickets to an event you’re dying to attend. However, you have to work that day! Do you ask the boss for the time off, or just call in sick? Depends. Usually I just email saying I’m not coming in that day and don’t elaborate as to why. Whether I count it as sick or vacation depends on how guilty I feel or how many hours of each I have left.

I like it! Made me think about myself, but not too much, which is always nice :)
