On sadder, non-NCAA news, my mom told me my dad got laid off from work today. This came as a bit of a surprise, because even though they were doing some layoffs, he had been told that his job was OK for awhile. Apparently not.

As if they didn’t have enough financial obligations to meet with two incomes, now they have to get by with just one paycheck. Truly sad. I don’t know what my family is going to do yet. :(
