Tonight I saw a sneak preview of Bringing Down the House. The theater had quite an interesting demographic. All different ages and ethnicities crowded the Fiesta 5 to partake in this film experience. There was quite a large number of older couples (middle aged and much older) as well as the normal college crowd. For some reason I guess I didn’t expect older people to be there. I am not sure what they came to see—Steve Martin or a film about old white people who try to be hip. Maybe these people think that by watching this movie, they too can be “hip” and “with it”. Rich old people are a strange lot. :)
