Shhh, Keep it a Surprise

Well I just got back from going home for the weekend. It was an all right weekend overall, and I think it may have thrown off my mom as planned. We went to dinner Saturday night at Marie Callender’s with my grandma, who accidentally divulged my mom’s birthday present before my dad gave it to her. It is a pair of tickets to go see the Lion King at the Pantages next Saturday. Later that night my mom, my neighbors Charlene and Kim, and I went to a bar in La Mirada to celebrate the birthdays of my mom and Charlene. It was cool, although the people in the bar seemed a little shady. Perhaps the scariest thing though, is that I recognized a handful of people from my high school. I’m not sure which is more frightening—that these people turned out so shady, or that they never left town.

Today I went to some church picnic thing even though I’m not religious at all. I just went for the free food. I then did another thorough washing of my car and returned to SB in time to watch Six Feet Under. That’s about it—I’m not sure what I’ll be up to this week, but hopefully it’s something interesting.
