Normally I don’t mention my bowling excursions anymore, because they have become fairly common, but Tuesday’s trip was a little more unusual. For starters, way more people showed up this time—10 to be exact. We took up two lanes. On one lane it was me, Kevin, Melany, Mike, and Kyra. On the other lane it was Alex, Alex (Carson), Nick, Jeff, and Dan. The games themselves were also a bit more unusual because Nick bowled an awesome game of 178 or something and Melany actually bowled a spare WHILE ON HER CELL PHONE. Melany’s spare was pretty funny. The guy next to her let her bowl first and then looked on in bewilderment as she proceeded to knock down 9 pins while on the phone. Continuing her conversation, she managed to knock down the remaining pin. Craziness. Adding to the craziness was Alex (Carson) picking up and swinging everyone who got a spare or strike, and his insistence that, whenever our turns coincided, he and I bowl simultaneously. I think we all had fun. Sadly, next week will be Melany’s last bowling Tuesday, as she is moving back home shortly after.
