To start off, I took some pictures of my new car, in case anyone hasn't seen a Jetta before (not likely), or would like to see my particular one (slightly more likely, though also improbable).

Yesterday after work I saw Spider-Man at the 6:15 showing. It was pretty good. I was worried that the theater might get a bit hectic, with a combination of die-hard comic fans and little children scattered throughout. I think there were also a bunch of people like me--those who know what Spider-Man is, but do not follow it at all, and therefore cannot tell you the major story behind the movie. I guess I always thought of Spider-Man as someone older, but I have been informed that his age varies, and that for the most part he really was just a dorky teenager.

Tonight I am going to Josh's "birthday party/Cinco de Mayo one day early" celebration. It is to be a BBQ, and from what I understand will have copious amounts of food and alcohol. Josh promises to stay up until 11pm, but we shall see! :) Hard to believe he is already a quarter of a century old. Time goes so fast, next thing you know I'LL be that old!!
