I am now officially insane. On a bored whim, I decided to head to Michael’s and buy a counted cross-stitch kit. Growing up, I had completed several such projects, as well as left several incomplete. Why I decided to buy a new kit when I have at least 2 at my parents’ house still waiting to be finished, I have no idea.

To add to the insanity, I think that this project seriously involves at least 1000x more stitching than my previous projects. Will I finish it? Probably not. But if I do, I will have a real sense of accomplishment. Normally I am gung-ho on these things for awhile, and then give up when I realize that even after spending 3 hours making hundreds of little X’s, there is very little progress to be seen.
